Please read the essential information relating to your chosen course below. This includes the equipment you will need for your studies, when you will be able to enrol as well as information about your induction to the college.

HOW AND WHEN TO ENROL
To ensure the safety of our staff and students and to manage the number of people on campus in a Covid-safe manner during this busy period, it is our intention to enrol as many students as possible online. You can find out if you’re eligible for online enrolment on our How to Enrol page.
If you are eligible to complete your enrolment online, you will receive a unique username and password via letter and email. This will allow you to sign in to access your online enrolment dashboard.
Online enrolment for this programme opens on the following dates:
10th AUGUST
Please note: Access to your personal online enrolment dashboard will only be available from the date stated above.

If you are not eligible for online enrolment or need extra support, please call 01964 553000 to book an appointment to enrol on campus.
INDUCTION
The enrolment process will be complete once you have attended Bishop Burton for your induction session, which will take place week commencing:
12th September – Please be advised by your lecturer
Please bring your own device if you have one.
At induction, students will receive their ID badge, a copy of their Learner Agreement and details about how to access their college email account, including their username and password (which they can change if they wish at a later date).

NO WORK EXPERIENCE, TRIPS AND VISITS
The location of your placement may require you to travel so please be aware of any associated travel costs.
A suitable electronic device, e.g. a laptop or tablet, with internet connectivity is required for accessing online learning.
On successful completion of the programme you will be eligible to graduate at the University Centre Bishop Burton. This ceremony requires formal dress, which will incur a cost for hiring a cap and gown. Students will require a suitable electronic device to access any online aspects of study and complete assignments.
